Preparation for the BIG day!

Hey Gang! :)

Well, because the big day is arriving at such a fast pace, I decided I would start with the preparations for it. Being a HUGE procrastinator, I decided not to keep everything for the last minute therefore, I have begun working on getting my visa, which is a huge step. One giant step closer to living my dream. My dream that will come true in no less than 4 months. FOUR MONTHS!! It seems that only yesterday I was bummed out by the 9 month waiting period. Where did the time go?? Now that winter is here however, time will probably slow down.. time will drag on AS my excitement level reaches points its' never been too before. Luckily, I have plenty to look forward too and to keep me busy all winter. ;)

I decided to create a blog that I will TRY to update on a regular basis. A little something so my folks back home know what I have been up too and hopefully be able to share some beautiful pictures I will take once i'm there. Hopefully the people reading my blog will be able to live this experience with me, eventhough we will be miles and miles apart.

I am starting to have butterflies in my stomach. That's a good sign right??!! I mean, I think its normal to be nervous... to be a little frightened... leaving everything that is most important to me and going into the SOMEWHAT unknown.... yeah definitely a little frightening... but also very exciting. I can't wait to wake up in my new apartment, to eat my morning CROISSANT and to start exploring the streets of Paris. To make new friends and to start a new job! To be able to see the Eiffel tower any time that I want, (hoping that someday my prince charming will romanticly ask me to marry him under the flashing lights of the eiffel tower.. *hint hint*), basically to simply be able to see Paris' true beauty. A beauty I have witnessed a few times before but can't wait to witness it again.

So, I guess thats about it for now. I will try and get the hang of this and try to understand it. And hopefully this will be a very intersting tool for me to use through out my time in beautiful Paris!

Rock on!
